Today, instead of drawing another game character, I decided to fool around with the style that I’ve been using.  This is a character that I drew a year or two ago, but wasn’t really happy with.  Now I’m maybe a little happier.  I don’t know.

I like these shapes a lot better, though.  Those drawings that I did last week all look like junk now.

Aha!  Is this our chance?

Profiling Start

Most of my favorite character designs happen to come out of the far east. China, Japan, Korea. But the Assassin’s Creed games have some pretty great design. So chalk one up for French Canada.

I’m really glad that Valve used the Chell design in the game instead of any of the other ones that they worked up.

Proto Man, a character I came to like much more after listening to the Protomen’s albums.

I’m doing some video game characters in the same style as my Gamefigs and this is the first of the sketches that I’ve done. I really like the designs in the Street Fighter Alpha series and Cammy’s is my favorite.
